ZUZANA, ALEX, SIRI, ... [In Czech]
Tématem performativní přednášky spojené s workshopem ZUZANA, ALEX, SIRI, ... jsou virtuální hlasy. Divák se seznámí s historií odvětví, s tematickými projekty Jany Bernartové. Druhou částí je čtení počítačem generovaných básní J. Levého, K. Paly a O. Suse z roku 1965-1967, dále generovaných milostných dopisů 1952/2009 rekonstruovaných Davidem Linkem, nebo textu Black Box Society teoretika práva Petra Aghy (2020). Závěrem si účastník vyzkouší, kde "hlasy" najde, jak je nainstaluje do svého počítače nebo jak pořídí nahrávku.
Uvažování o virtuálních hlasech navazuje na umělecký projekt Jany Bernartové Generování textu o generativním umění (2013 - 2020), software s prvky umělé inteligence. TO píše text samo o sobě, o umění nových médií, o generativním umění. Projekt se zabývá otázkou autorství, testuje možnosti produkce a sémantiky ve vztahu k umělé inteligenci.
Již se nacházíme v době, kdy virtuální hlas může být 100% lidsky věrný a může prezentovat text napsaným člověkem a nebo robotem, aniž by ucho posluchače poznalo rozdíl. Kde je tedy hranice akceptace umělého textu? Chceme mít dokonalé virtuální hlasy nebo naopak? Chceme rozeznat virtuálního telefonního asistenta? Souzníme s technologickým vývojem?

Jana Bernartová
Jana Bernartová decided to accentuate the undesirable symptoms of production, communication, mediation and remediation, imbue them with meaning and reveal their aesthetic potential in her work. Errors, short-circuits, interferences, reverberations, feedbacks, interruptions and absences thus become legitimate elements of her artistic language. She immerses herself in the “depths“ of the digital medium (print, software, internet) to discover the potentialities of error and failure under the seemingly perfect surface. However, rather than trying to prove the instability of computer infallibility, she does so for exclusively aesthetic purposes. She seeks beauty where one would hardly expect it; within cold, calculated representation, production, postproduction and distribution.
In her work, she examines the relationship between the virtuality of the digital space and its material transitions into the world of things. She observes the principles and possibilities of presetting and standardization and their possible failure. Through her visually sobre intermedia work, she comments on the state of the contemporary world (of art).
